Think we missed Arnie a lot, Afellay is a great player but didn’t stay wide enough with Pieters

Afellay isn’t a wide player, hasn’t got the pace.

Everyone think that’s Haugaard’s run done then? Given in from now on.

That’s what I’m saying ahah. Tactics gone wrong today.

The less spoke about Haugaard’s performance today the better I reckon

The defence was appalling, Bardsley was our best player out there.

We’ve given Haugaard his chance with today and against Swansea, and he hasn’t taken it. Definitely should be starting Given next week.

Haugaard and both full backs were disapointing today, would like to have seen Moha been given a chance today with Arnie being injured, also is Bojan not able to play 90 minutes or is sparkey not giving him a chance to do so, it looks like the latter to me.

Haugaard to blame for first and last goal. Shay would have saved them. I would of saved them in fact! I believe a large part of goalkeeping is confidence and it won’t do him much good but if defence can be kicked into shape within a week he’ll be good. Shawcross and Wolly should have had 2nd and 3rd goals. 2 unmarked headers!! Bards was dreadful to should have covered shaq for the cross for 2nd but was in no mans land! Have faith in Lesley Mark Hughes he’ll kick them into shape. And I believe Haugaard’s confidence will grow if we win one. Just so long as we aren’t playing Spurs haha.
