Twitter Reacts: Peter “100 Club” Crouch
It was a record breaking night at the bet365 stadium for our 6ft7 striker, Peter Crouch, who last night joined an elite list of players to score 100 Premier League goals, solidifying himself in Premier League history. Plus, for all you Crouch enthusiasts out there you can look forward to watching all 100 goals on Sky Sports 1, every other day midweek. However, you’ll only see the infamous robot once, as last night was the first time he had used it in the Premier League.
It was also a night of controversy, with an Everton goal that was first disallowed, then given, after much badgering from the Everton players (you can tell they signed Schneiderlin from Man United…) We also got a first glimpse of our new £12 million pound man Saido Berahino. Let’s see how Twitter reacted to the events that unfolded at the bet365.
First of all, we’re all still coming to terms with this loss, there is just no need.
Hope Bojan plays tonight

I bet this weeks team selection went down well.
Not sure Hughes has learnt anything from watching the midfield being overrun so often with Adam in it

Ah, maybe not then.
Letting Bojan go looks even better when Shaq's injured, dunnit?

However, there was one surprise in the 18-man squad, Tom Edwards was handed a place on the bench.

It was an uneventful first opening few minutes, nothing much really happened…

I’d like to think this didn’t jinx it, but…
Ryan Shawcross is better than Ashley Williams in every single department, pass it on. https://t.co/VmFkAjuS3S

Craig Pawson gives the goal! Lukaku is a yard offside, but the ball comes off Shawcross #SCFC 1-1 #EFC

It was a fairly dull second half if I’m honest, until…

To be fair to them, it’s not often they play with strikers that make positive runs.

So, it finished 1-1. Agree?
Actually thought it was a decent game against two evenly matched teams. If only we could take our chances!
